disabilities to obtain and keep employment." Wide range of services
includes assessment, counseling, medical restoration, training, help with
job search and more.

In- and out-patient services for disabled youth. Medical coupons and
sliding scale fees. Referral from a primary care provider is required.
Easter Seals Washington
Information, referral, and follow-up services for children and adults
with
disabilities.
Alliance of People with disAbilities
Consulting on ADA, legal rights issues, housing & independent living assistance, employability and accessibility specialist, self-advocacy training, referral services.
Meals On Wheels
Meal and grocery delivery for homebound persons 60 or over.
$3.00 per meal suggested donation. Food stamps OK for groceries.
Also meals for homebound persons under 60, $4.50 per meal.
Hearing, Speech, and Deafness Center
Clinical evaluation and treatment services for deaf and hearing children and adults. Medical coupons
accepted. Audiostore for assistive devices. Speech classes and deaf and hard of hearing advocacy.
Sight Connection
Formerly Community Services for the Blind and Partially Sighted.
Vision rehabilitation, specialists in age-related vision loss. Low vision
clinic, assistive technology. Adjustment counseling for vision loss.
Sight Connections store (adaptive aids store) hours M-F 9-5.
Lifetime Advocacy Plus
Guardianship and trust management for disabled and elderly persons.
Disability Rights Washington
Formerly Washington Protection and Advocacy System.
Private non-profit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities statewide.
Utility Discount Program
Offers a discount of about 60% on Seattle City Light bill and a 50% discount on Seattle Public Utilities bill.
Available for residential City Light and Seattle Public Utilities customers only and does not apply to residences
used for business purposes.
Minor Home Repair
Seattle, Shoreline, Bellevue only.
Although this program is operated by Senior Services of Seattle/King
County, it provides
low-cost home repair for low-income homeowners regardless of age. Also,
disabled renters may
be eligible for disability access modification with the consent of the
landlord.
